Welcome!
Before you find your way through my site, I'd like you to get to know me. This contains some of my latest, and favorite, works I have completed within journalism and media studies program. The tabs above will help you to my resume, news articles, photographs and more.
Hope you enjoy.
I'll leave you with a little teaser about myself explaing how I found the road I'm on today.
My first two years of undergraduate studies were completed at Florida International University where I received an athletic scholarship for springboard and platform diving. After two years, I realized it wasn't a perfect match made in heaven.
One year later I transferred to USF St. Petersburg. I'm a student in the journalism and media studies program. I'm also studying political science. During this time my love for photography has grown at a rate I never anticipated. I would like to continue my education in journalism focusing on foreign policy and public affairs.
In the fall I'll being learning Arabic. I hope to recieve a spot in a submersion program in Eqypt next summer. Ultimately, I would love to be political reporter covering the action in D.C. or an international war correspondent. It doesn't have to be in that order though.
I've learned the path I'm on today hasn't been controlled by me as much as I'd like. I'm here now and loving every minute of it. I've also learned that whomever or whatever you believe in has a bigger plan for you than you think. I've come to respect and embrace what I used to be afraid of-- the unknowing or mystery of people, things and especially my future.
If you've ever gone down what you think was a broken road or dark path to your life, hang on until you see the other end of the tunnel. It's scary. It's fun. It's all over the place. It's life. And that's how I am where I'm at today.
